Good move resigning Peters because who knows if your LT will be any good or not. As far as playing RG goes. No opinion on that. Has he ever played OG? Regardless I'm guessing it's a dirt cheap contract (vet minimum plus bonuses maybe?) and a smart move
I'm guessing Peters has never played OG in a game, maybe never even practiced there. He originally signed with the Bills as a UDFA TE. The way they handled his contract situation - basically lowballing him and letting him walk for nothing, ranks with the dumbest things in Bills (or arguably any NFL) management history.
OK I was mistaken. For some reason I thought they let him walk. They did get Eric Wood with the 1st rd pick, so not a terrible deal in the end. OTOH, with their 1-11 pick in that draft, they took an all-time dud in Aaron Maybin.Agreed it was dumb for the Bills to part ways with him but thwy didn't let him walk for nothing, Eagles did trade a 1dt round pick for him.
What year was he inducted to HOF?
Peters got punked out of his regular job. What a chump, sticking with a team that bounced him out.
The OP has distanced himself from Battlelyon as biggest homer ever on this site. What year was he inducted to HOF?

How neat would it be if the Eags brought back Koy Detmer too!
You remember the Koy?
Somebody outta fish that gem of a thread up so we can relive how OP stated his namesake should be in the HoF......lolz

Such a tremendous move after the Brooks injury.
The Eagles always have great backup plans. That's how they just won their Super Bowl. Booyah!
