The NFL Players association may cancel the Tampa- Philly game sunday, as the 3rd player on the Tampa team has come down with an MRSA infection.(Staph). Although it is unlikely, if another player is diagnosed before Sunday,it is a possibility. Let's hope we play!

Posted an article on the general board that discussed this. It said Jacksonville or Lincoln Financial were possible alternates but the concern seemed to be more about players interacting, than location.

According to NFL Rule 17, Article 9, if the game is postponed it would be required to be played this Monday or Tuesday or a Tuesday later in the season.

I dont think the NFL would care weather or not it was on a bye week... They just want to get the game in and collect the money.

Correct. If this game won't happen on Sunday it will be moved to a different location Monday or Tuesday of this week coming up. They will not postpone this game for a later date.

The game should be on. I'm looking for Foles to continue his excellent throwing and get a nice blowout of the Bucs. Dallas will likely beat the Skins today so this sets the stage for next week's Cowboys (3-3) at Eagles (3-3) game.
