The men's basketball team takes on #6 Duke (4-0) tomorrow in the Maui Invitational. The winner of this game will face the winner of the Memphis/Michigan game. I'm hoping the Vols can keep it competitive. Don't want to see a beatdown, lol. I believe in the end, Duke's talent and depth will be too much...but we will see. GO VOLS!

The key is limiting the Blue Devils scoring runs. The Vols have to answer a basket with a basket. We need a big day from Golden, and for someone else to step up...like Hall in the paint or McBee for 3. This one could get ugly if Tennessee doesn't come to play..

Ugly game, but Tennessee played tough. Just missed way too many layups and easy shots. Not making any 3's didn't help either. Pretty impressed the Vols were able to stay in the game as long as they did, considering how bad they played. Gotta play Memphis next.

We didnt play too bad, ran the offense REALLY well the first half, they just had too many big names. Really enjoyed the team tho and they really put in the effort for a good game, those easy shots ended up hurting. Shot great on the foul line which is great for a change lol

I thought we ran the offense really well, just didn't execute some of the easy shots. I think Maymon missed 6 layups, lol.

Vols play the #8 Tigers today in the losers game, lol. Memphis lost to Michigan yesterday while Tennessee lost to Duke. I've only seen Memphis once this year, and that was vs Belmont. They seem to have a very long and athletic team that can get up and down the court quick. Kinda like our team when Pearl was here. It will be a fun game to watch. GO VOLS!

Exciting game. Too bad the Vols couldn't finish it off in OT. Either Memphis isn't all that good, or Tennessee is better than expected. This was supposed to be a rebuilding year with a new coach and without Hopson & Harris. Coach Martin has this team playing very well so far. Going toe-to-toe with the #6 & #8 teams in the nation, not bad. I'm actually lookin' forward to the rest of this season, lol.
