The Broncos have made final cuts. Looks like Nathan Palmer, Danny Mason, and Dan Light are the final 3 cuts until the next cut down after Thursday.
Well, the "easier to predict" cuts are behind the Broncos. The next round of cuts after Thursday's final preseason game may have a few more shockers in them. Getting down to the 53 man roster will probably include an additional cut or two to make way for some player pick-ups, after all the teams finish up their brutal business of the preseason.
I was thinking the same exact thingPhil Taylor just got cut by the Browns. I could definitely see the Broncos having some interest. With Anunike working his way back and Wolfe suspended he could be a nice fill in for 4 weeks to see what he has got and if nothing much then after 4 weeks he is the spot that Wolfe takes on the roster.
Yeah I think the wr position is going to take the biggest hit when its all said and done. If Denver "actually" is serious about Sanders returning punts, that doesn`t bode well for a couple wr/ST guys. Prob see some hits in Lb also. Like I mentioned earlier, would not be surprised to see Webster,Ball and C. Nelson as casualties either.Yeah I have no idea what is going to happen next. Receiver is a position that I think could surprise some people. Some think Caldwell is a lock. Some think Fowler is a lock. Heck I saw one guy predicting that we would keep something like 7 receivers this year. I can't see that with so much talent at other positions that could actually play more so than 7 receivers in a game but it could get interesting. Linebacker is the other position that intrigues me the most. Man are we loaded in that group.
That was prob his only hope.To the surprise of no one Zac Dysert has been signed by the Bears to reunite with Gase and Fox.

Have to say....no surprises. Next cut, unless there's a trade somewhere, shouldn't be to shocking either. The Broncos have made final cuts. Looks like Nathan Palmer, Danny Mason, and Dan Light are the final 3 cuts until the next cut down after Thursday.
Could be mistaken but from what I've heard/think I remember, he's been kind of a bust to this point anyway. An interesting tidbit regarding Phil Taylor....Tom Heckert, personnel guy for the Broncos was the person that originally drafted Taylor when he was with the Browns. I think the Broncos are still looking for competition at the nose tackle position and I would be surprised if they aren't inquiring about Phil Taylor's services as I type this. A contract with Taylor could be good for the Broncos, as the Browns have to compensate Taylor the difference between what he signs for and the 5 million that they still owe him. He can now choose to join a contender and still make his 5 mil total. Broncos could possibly get him on the cheap....so to speak. Of course, a lot of that hinges on his health.
