In a league where you got 5 pints for 100 yards receiving and 6 points for a td, I had Haywood Jeffries have a game of 11 catches for 99 yards and no TDs. Same score as someone who never got in the game. That is why I like PPR leagues, but have no problem with the 1/2 a point discussion.

Yeah, having to reach 100 before you get sqwat..that's a little insane. Yards matter, wether its -1, or 99.

I'm glad those leagues have mostly withered away, at least those in my circle of awareness

lol..you are in my 8 person league right? I'd say we've got some scoring there :)

naw I just like the scoring to reflect what happens on the field and how it affects the scoreboard/standings as much as possible. big plays that change momentum in a game should be scored more than a typical run of the mill accumulation of stats, stuff like that. That's why the massive scoring for those big TD's in that league. Sure on occasion you get the garbage 50 yard TD that doesn't mean a damned thing in the win/loss column, but typically, those electrify the crowd, get the team amped up, or conversely, shut up the crowd, and deflate the opposition, and I like to think they should be worth more. Catching a ball at the line of scrimmage or behind it, for a zero net gain shouldn't be worth one point in and of itself, and yet it is, far too often. that's just me.

I think the half ppr is a nice compromise, I'll never piss and moan about that one
I'm completely fine with it at every position except tight end. If you are going to have standard scoring for tight ends, you might as well not even have the position.

@HaroldSeattle wager alternative/offer sent.
On the face impressive, but with the roster restrictions in this league not so much. Hard to use much more then a first in this league, the draft is watered down hard by the roster limit which is tight. Even second round picks come with a questionable price of cutting a player that could be more valuable then the one drafted. The player your targeting is sort of my crush for this season. So I'll have to pass. I'll send a counter but doubt it will interest you.

Games with at least 8 points
2020: 5
2021: 3
First four games of 2022: 0
Weeks 3 and 4: 2 catches, 6 yards

October 5th: Ahh, fuck it. I’ll finally drop him.

Next three games: 5 total TD, 13 targets, 11 catches… 8 pts, 10 pts, 24 pts

Piss off, Mecole. You too, fantasy gods.

Nice Win @HaroldSeattle !

Thanks for the offer, but I had to decline. It was tempting, though. :)

@Robotech unbelievable. Did Milk pay you to do that shit?

LOL, I looked at this week's scoring and I finally figured out what you're taking about. No, Milk didn't have anything to do with it. I didn't want to look bad by having a position empty. I looked bad enough by not having a kicker last week.

Yeah I just never would have dreamed that somebody would be picking a defense up at 11:00 Sunday night other than us. We only chose to drop that defense because we knew they wouldn't clear waivers until after everybody else had played and then if the game was close and we weren't winning then we were going to drop Tyler Bass and pick the Bears defense up because there was no way anybody else would still be picking players up Sunday night. We didn't want to drop anybody if we didn't have to since we had 6 guys on bye. Apparently we were wrong. Congratulations on the victory Milk. Nothing we can do now.

Well this doesn't specifically address in season moves, but it was pretty clear that the intention of the poll was in regards to moves such as this, with the majority of votes, voting for "no, the possibility of a full lineup must be maintained at all times"

Please get the empty defense slot addressed before any other roster moves.

Um we don't have an empty roster spot. We still have the Bills defense, they are just on bye.
