I would love a slow draft right about now!

my home league is a redraft. I won last year.

we do draft position choice or pick in the first round, but the first eight stayed put and just picked…

No ppr.
QB-RB(2)-WR(2)-WR/TE(1), TE, K, DST

1. Cmac
2. Cook
3. Adams
4. Henry
5. Kamara
6. Chubb
7. A. Jones
8. Zeke

I might go crazy with Mahomes/Kelce at the turn. Not sure yet. QB’s usually go early in this league. Eight man bench too, so everyone takes at least two.

Im back! the move was exhausting but the family and myself are in our new house.

Side note: moving/packing sucks. Two thumbs down would not recommend!

How is everyone?
I get to do the same throughout the next 2-3 weeks

Godspeed sir. It sucks donkey balls.

I have no idea how Opendoor makes any money. They offered us nearly triple what we paid for our house almost ten years ago

Zillow bought ours. I paid 155000 in 2007, today most homes in the neighborhood are appraised at around 350-390. We listed at 375000, plus had an on going storm damage claim north of 20G we were expecting to have to do before getting it sold. Zillow came in and bought it at 400,00, as is. We didn't argue.

Thats solid. We bought ours in 2012 for $135,500 and Opendoor gave us in the $340s. Zero chance it is worth that. I couldnt accept it fast enough.

Dang it makes it tempting to sell my home. I know for tax purposes my home has doubled almost tripled in value and looking at homes in the area they are going for even more then that . Course the down side is having to move which is one hell of a job and then finding a new home to buy or rent where your at the other end of the stick and paying through the nose.
I've just retired and was thinking of moving away from the big city to some where with a slower pace, less traffic, less crime, less congestion, shorter lines, cheaper cost of living etc. Think the biggest roadblock is IDK where that would be yet.

Opendoor is dumb. They do a 5 mile radius when looking for comps. In that five miles they included a stupid expensive community called Harbor Village. 1500sqft houses in there go for $400k+ so that help give me a bump. Highly recommend either Opendoor or Zillow. No one even stepped foot inside my house.

Here home prices have gone nuts as well - even ones built in the 60's. We constantly get offers at 2-3 times what we paid. Problem is that anything worth having has done the same - so nothing gained. In this neck of the woods, we've seen this several times before - - then the bottom falls out,- people with large mortgages panic, .and investors start grabbing them at very reduced prices. Not saying that gonna happen again or where you guys live since different places have differing economies driving the bus. Ours is basically tied to the space program - and it has ups and downs.

I bought new house last June. Latest appraisal indicates that it has gone up $140K in 14 months. It is nuts in Denver.

We'd love to accommodate you - - - but like most leagues there are have's and have not's. ... think we fit the later category

As badly as Foot mismanaged that team, he always won more games than he should've, somehow

Great to have you aboard, Zeke.

:puke:
Yeah that was bad, but the Bucs run defense is so good that it's almost fruitless to try and run against them and the Cowboys had to try and keep up with the scoring the Bucs were doing. I'm hoping for better results going forward.

Yeah, you just aren't going to run on Suh, Vita Vea, JPP, David and White..maybe the 90's Cowboys could've challenged that front seven...maybe

In the leagues I had better options, I sat Zeke. Including your league Treff. Of course the problem with that is there aren't many leagues that I had better options. I think that defense is just going to become an automatic sit of whatever running back is playing them unless they are more of a pass catcher. Reminds me of the old Steelers and Ravens defenses when you just didn't play your running backs against them no matter what.
