Well, A) it was the 2.1 and Fournette, and B) they were all future picks, except the 3, and C), different league, different rules, different situations.

That was more of a right place, right time, right person wanted the target that fell...sometimes it all converges and you get a windfall.

In your instance...there's still multiple worthy players available in your slot, you don't have all the leverage. If you won't play ball at thier price, they'll move to the next pick and take whatever you don't.

It's the guy who holds that magical pick where there's only 1 big name target left..he has the leverage
