Way to go wittle jimmy busboy!!!

1) You cost us Phil Jackson,

2) You cost us Andrew Bynum,

3) You cost us Dwight Howard

*** All for flippin Steve Nash and D'Antoni.

He should take his trust fund, go to a remote island, and get the fuck out of LA.

Lakers have one chance to get something here.

You have Clippers, Mavericks, and Rockets all competing for him. Once he hits free agency we're done.

Do a sign and trade with 1 of those teams, and let Dwight help chose. Players, draft picks, cap space, etc...

Get something now!

I hear ya Hizzle. Perfectly stated as well. But nothing is going to happen because Short Buss is going to keep Don'tknowi and together they are going eff-up a once proud franchise in a matter of years.

Short Buss lives in a reality fog and he thinks doing nothing rather than being proactive is teh prudent course of action. He is not going to work a trade and D12 is going to walk with the Lakers getting nothing. I hope I am wrong, but Shorty hasn't demonstrated he is going to behave any differently. It is going to be a lllloooonnnngggg rebuilding period as long as that idiot is in charge.

who knows what Howard is going to do.. i trust boussard though.. he actually had the big 3 coming together way before anyone else. california also has some of the worse tax rates in the US.

If you pay an agent. After state/fed/agents cut a 100 million dollar deal would net you like 38 million. Id leave for texas too.

I think I said it before he did. 30-1. Remember?

And, yes, Howard will actually make less, salary wise by staying in L.A. unless something happened to end his career and he never got paid for that 5th season.

The is no need for a sign and trade.

The LAKERS are hoping that some team signs and trades.

But, Houston and Dallas can just sign him outright.

What advantage would the Mavericks or Houston get from sending assets to LA?

The only thing they would ever send would be aging junk contracts.

There is ZERO NEED for Houston to send anything to LA.

I love Cuban but I am rooting for the Rockets to get him so we have another great team "super team". No guarantees or anything but I think they would wreck havoc through out the NBA.

I would like Howard with Houston or GSW but honestly the style Houston runs will have to change in the halfcourt set if Howard wants to be happy there. Same with GSW. Dallas is more to what Howard would probably want. He and Dirk would be interesting together.

You realize he's probably the biggest hack in the industry, right? You must be the most trusting person ever. Off topic but, could you loan me 1000 dollars? I got this business transaction with a guy that's going to payout 100K plus, but I need some money for start up. If you wire me the money, I'll triple your investment within a month once the deal is complete

If this is the case, then Dwight is a big pussy. There will be high expectations of him where ever he choses.

Terrified, Petulant Dwight Howard Blaming Fans For L.A. Departure | Lakers Nation
Sounds more like LA writers/fans are getting their sour grapes ready for mass marketing. The writer makes some out of this world assumptions. He says Howard is terrified? Howard reportedly says that LA fans are ungrateful and he translates that into Howard not wanting to win?

So Dwight Howard thinks LA fans are dicks? Join the club.. :suds:

Just kidding. kinda.

Honestly.. the LA fans were hard on the guy this year. He was coming off back surgery and gave it all he has. He just wasnt the normal Dwight. Plus your coach's system sucks. It just does. He never was utilized right. Plus in LA Kobe walks on water. 5 titles does that.

He will leave for Houston where he will be made the focal point of the offense. he will have a young emerging star in harden. he will make probably 10-15 million more on a life of a contract just off the tax savings... and he can really be the face of a franchise. looking at it objectively, the move makes the most sense for Howard at this point in his career. i understand LA fans wanting him to stay, shit i would love him to sign with Miami. But if im Dwight, the tax savings, the ability to play with a young star, and to be the face of a franchise.. Houston seems the best move.

the part that is funny.. is his wild assumptions and name calling only proves what Howard said correct, and the author probably has no clue he is doing that.

Who knows until he actually signs somewhere else, but nobody should be the least bit surprised when he leaves any more then the Cavs/fans should have been surprised when James left.

Seems to me, like it did with James, that no positive communication, let alone any type communication says it all.

He'd be the face of the franchise in LA as well. He just may be too big of a pussy to handle the expectations. And Dwight got plenty of support from Lakers fans as well. I defended him all season long knowing we weren't getting the best Dwight due to the recovery from back surgery.

I agree Houston appears to be a good destination. How will he mesh with Harden and their uptempo offense though? Harden loves the PnR, which, as good as Dwight is in the PnR, is something Dwight doesn't want to do much of. He would prefer to post up all day. I think McHale is smart enough though to mold a system around the players unlike MDA who tries to mold players to his system.

If Dwight does leave LA, he is blowing an opportunity to work with the great Mark Madsen who was just hired as an assistant coach under MDA!!

This is a pretty shitty website known for posting junk articles. This may be one of them.

Turnup, Flauge, Montsho, and Lakersrule. I am tired of this guy and his petulant whining about G-D knows what!!! If it is not a good fit for him, I say let the man go. Again, there is nothing more cancerous for a team than an unhappy player. Let the man go where he wants.

He obviously does not want to be with the Lakers. We are beating a dead horse here. He is pretty much gone and I'll be extremely surprised if he stays. It ain't happening. You folks in Miami, if you want the man, convince him to sign with the LeBron and company. You can have the dude!! I'm done!!!

:agree: This guy is just ridiculous. First he can't decide if he wants to stay or not, then after he apparently decides he wants to leave, he can't decide on the reason why he wants to leave!! This is not a guy you pay max dollars to and try to build a championship team around!!

Let him go, take it on the chin next year and then go into next summer with a ton of cap space!!
