Is there a difference between the sleeve length of a shirt I would buy and the "arm length" measurement at the combine?

Sleeve length is measured from the middle of your collar to the end of the cuff. From what I understand the way they do it at the combine is to measure from the center of your chest to the 2nd knuckle of your middle finger.

There are 2 key dates to remember over this next week. March 4th as Manning has to come in for a physical so probably more so than the physical it will be him in the Denver facility talking with Elway and Kubiak. I'm sure at that point they will have a pretty clear idea of what is happening. Then March 9th is when his deal officially kicks into guaranteed money so March 8th is when the Broncos would have to cut him. So essentially Manning has 1 week to make his decision or the Broncos will at least make his decision for him when it comes to the Broncos.

Ok - so I'm 6'3.5" inches tall - and my sleeve length is 39-40 - by CD's description I would show up on the Combine vitals with 44" arms. I'm freak enough to be draftable, but didn't figure it out until 50 years past the time it would have been useful. Speaking of useful - I do have the ability to scratch my knees without bending over - over time it has really saved my back.
