Is there a difference between the sleeve length of a shirt I would buy and the "arm length" measurement at the combine?

Sleeve length is measured from the middle of your collar to the end of the cuff. From what I understand the way they do it at the combine is to measure from the center of your chest to the 2nd knuckle of your middle finger.
Your built like a silverbackOk - so I'm 6'3.5" inches tall - and my sleeve length is 39-40 - by CD's description I would show up on the Combine vitals with 44" arms. I'm freak enough to be draftable, but didn't figure it out until 50 years past the time it would have been useful. Speaking of useful - I do have the ability to scratch my knees without bending over - over time it has really saved my back.
