Remember when they came out looking like the Oakland Raiders :

This would be more fitting to look like the Raiders.

And to go along with that meme, the ironic thing is, this was the game Oregon clinched a spot in the national championship game.

Your joke was about the top “team”, the top teams absolutely do determine the strength, or at least perceived strengh of a conference or division.

How did I contradict myself? You started talking about record averages after I said my argument is the top teams in conference are consistently from the north. The conference has pretty much been defined by teams from the north since they went to a 12 team, two division conference. USC is starting to get their shit together, but beyond them the south shows no signs of being anything but the same inconsistent shit show it’s been from the start.

Your post does show 4 of the top half 6 being teams from the north, and 3 of the top 4 (the only teams that finished with a respectable record), so I guess saying it was completely off base is a bit of a contradiction.
I stand corrected. You are, in fact, arguing that the strength of a division is determined only by the top teams.

Unfortunately, that is an argument that is substantiated only via cherry-picking of data.

To be fair, I’m not really trying to make that argument. All I said is the south is consistently a cluster fuck (because the teams are all pretty even and competitive). A USC fan took offense and claimed the south is as good as the north, which they’re not if you consider where the top teams in the conference are coming from.

Pretty sure the reigning conference champ is from the South.

USC's days of winning that weak division are over.

You let Colorado...……..COLORADO..win that division just a couple years ago.

Why is he gripping his man tits like that?
Maybe they were leaking? :noidea:
A buddy of mine in Portland lives on the same block as a former Oregon RB. The player says that the most amazing thing about Kelly is how much time he spends scratching his butt. So maybe he is just trying to block the stink on his fingers.

I seriously doubt that. Barring a total implosion, USC will most likely win a lot more division championships than Oregon will up north.

^^^ Now THAT I can actually agree with, unfortunately... :tsk:

So you're saying Colorado has been in the PAC championship game more recently than Oregon?
