It's a yearly ritual...they get their day in the sun on national TV against a power house and promptly shit their pants in front of the nation. Is anyone really surprised?

And some of you want Scott Frost as head coach. What Stanford is doing to Nike U is the absolute reason why Nebraska needs to get back to playing football the way use to. Playing sound fundamental football on defense and offense and being physical. Throat punching the opponent over and over again. Sorry but I can't not and will not believe you can win NC with Nike U offense.

They have 0 points and are completely demoralized.....

Yes, I am surprised. I've never seen this happen before to this team.

Oregon is gonna have to tweak it's style or get better line play

OL and DL got punished . still a good team but the blue print is true dominate line play against Oregon and play smart keep away and you should win

Yes it sucked not to get him. But as an olinemen do you blame him for not coming here I don't Stanford offense is basically what Nebraska use to be and IMO what Nebraska needs to get back to. Power running game with play action passes with just a little bit of spread you out to give you a different look. Oh and they play sound defensive football. But hey these spread offense are just all the rage in college football.

Agree which is why If Frost were to come here, I'd be really nervous with him as HC. Playing as he did for a coach that believed in run first and now coaching where the pass is predominant doesn't give me an awful lot of confidence with what he might do with our offense. Oregon didn't even manage to score until the 4th quarter.

The question is Frost merely a mouthpiece for the current HC who used to be the OC or was this Frosts game plan or a little of both? Don't know but the end results for two years has been the same. As an OC you cannot be so entrenched in your game plan to not make adjustments. If that means Oregon should have tried to run the ball a little more/better so be it.

So, if the Huskers are in need of a HC, this performance by Oregon pretty much proves to me that Frost just ain't ready. And no the onus of the loss doesn't fall on the OCs shoulders completely, but hell look at the time of possession? Can anyone say Oregon was ever really in the game?

That game might be a turning point for oregon.

Bama would have smashed them and that was my fear they can't handle a good DL.

As for frost I've said this before Oregon has a system that coaches have been taught and so the next one up is not changing much or doing much.i wanna see Scott frost somewhere else first before us.
