A useful idiot.
How is that not boarding? Glad Erskine kicked his ass.
There is a trade off to some degree. I mean, they have to work harder in the transition game now because the forwards are staying at home more and are not jumping out and getting as many odd-man rushes and such. But that might hurt you for 20-30 goals over a season, not almost 100!
(Ducks score, weird ass goals everywhere tonight)
But the bigger issue is finishing. They were criticized for not going to the net enough last year. Doing that more now, but not putting home wristers, connecting with great passes, putting home the nice pass to the back door, etc.
Here are some shooting percentages - OV 8.0% (career - 12.0), Laich 7.9% (career - 10.5), Knuble 9.5% (career - 14.2), Green 7.0% (career - 9.0), Carlson 5.3%, Fehr 7.8%, and on and on.
Those are dreadful.
LOL - took them long enough to call that.
But in alot of games, they have no trasition at all! It's all half court so to speak, and the Caps aren't skilled best that way. When they have space they are best, and most of the time that's on the rush...
shitty thing is it's a wash
I'm gonna bring up Semin needing to be traded more often!
Dear Capitals,
Please win in regulation. Thanks in advance.
