Game Thread: Dubs VS Kings 11/2/13

Dubs need a bounce back game

• No HB today, bench is going to have to play better
• We need more Game#1 Klay vs Game#2 Klay
• D.Lee needs to stay out of foul trouble
• Curry/Team needs to take care of ball better

Dubs on "paper" are the better team, and are playing at home, should be
another high scoring game.

Dubs averaging 120 PF, vs 110 PA, so far this year, leading the league in
scoring is nice, but I'd rather be 1st in FGA %, and rebounding instead.

When the Warriors limit turnovers and don't lose the rebounding battle, they usually win, so those are my keys. Dubs have a lot of ways to score, so whether that comes from Curry, Lee, or Thompson, or some other source, doesn't concern me much. Bogut is scoring 9.5 points in 23.0 minutes in the first 2 games, a very high rate for him. If he can continue with that kind of contribution on the offensive end, it takes some pressure off the guards to get it done with less reliable outside shooting.

Ugh. That is terrible news. Yeah, I won't be surprised to see Kuzmic under the circumstances, Bogut can't play 48 minutes and wrestling with Cousins is going to mean some fouls. Bogut really needs to avoid stupid fouls though and dial back the over-active screening for this game. I won't be surprised to see Lee at center for a while either.

I'm pretty sure that Jackson will go smaller with this team with JO out. He's not going to put Kuzmic in there. We'll likely see more of Bazemore tonight. Green will play a lot more at the 4 tonight and Speights will back up the 5. At least that is how I would think Jackson would counter having one less big.

Don't know if you guys caught it, but Dubs ran a play to get D.Lee a 3 point shot, he missed it long and it bricked off the back of the rim.

Klay is driving better this year, he's making an effort to finish at the rim. I LOVE IT.


Add that to his improved defense, and he's looking more and more like a steal at the #11 pick
