I dont think, from what I have read, that his knee is at a point where he would be productive. He hasn't scored 25 goals since 2007-2008. Points total has decreased 5 years in a row. Most importantly he is 34 and turns 35 in August. Not sure what the cap rule is but I would not want an injured player taking up cap. IF (note the big if) he is healthy, something around $1.5 sound right. I just think with the money the team has they could get better return elsewhere.

I know it's been touched on by some, but it's hard to believe nobody hasn't started a Parise thread yet..

Would kill for him, but he was offered arbitration last I heard. Will take some time before anything can happen there.
