recchi signing a 1 year deal with boston to be announced on monday.

hamhuis close to a deal. was thought to be 5 mil. now it seems like it is 4 mil.

flyers have talked to la about their goalies. quick is not available. bernier would take carter and the flyers do not want to trade him. any deal would most likely have to deal with hartnell.

the canucks might trade for volchenkov's rights.

I don't want him to go anywhere but the fact of the matter is this. Murray opened his mouth and said Spezza would be open to a trade. Now Sens fans opinion of him probably has gone down and the fan criticism of Spezza will only increase from this point on.

Imo you have to trade him now. No ifs or buts about it and this all rests on Murray's shoulders. If he doesn't trade Spezza now, that would be worse then the comments he made a few days ago. You don't throw a guy under the bus like that and then leave him hanging.
