He 100% needs to sit for a year. He has the best pure arm in this draft. End of day with Geno as the starter Penix can sit a year, work on footwork/vision and hopefully takeover. We'll see. I think if Nix/McCarthy/Penix start this year all 3 will fail horribly.

I would be totally fine if we nabbed Penix, I think he has tons of upside … Leading UW to a national title game with a sub par defense was impressive …

They offered me a very cool sounding, but very expensive package deal that included shaking hands and private meet and greet with "guaranteed HoF'ers current star players, commissioner Goodell and other special guests" I'm thinking I just saw the group of people that I wouldhave gotten to meet.
