You are correct Sir!and when you do that you get bit in the ass . goff signed the big contract they offered but the rams werent very smart handing out overpays for gurley and goff
No, I meant we were talking Stafford/Goff and Goff's bad contract, not the inexcusable AS trade.the talk of bad contracts has no relevance ?

Oh my, I would be disgusted if we gave that up for Carr who I really don't like as QB anyway. If he is on the list of QB's to pursue and RR & Co feels he fits with the offense, then I would offer a 3rd rounder, period. If the Raiders say no, I offer a 3rd for Mariota. If the Raiders say no, I give them the middle finger and walk away. Do not reach for a QB now for the future. We also cannot mortgage the future so the Watson idea is out. Listening to the Rivera, Hurney, Mayhew presser, it sure sounds like the vision for future QB is not on the team currently, he all but said it while verbally dancing around it.i wouldnt be too mad if we did that . i wouldnt be too happy either

Looks like this team truly made the best offer for Stafford but he wanted no part of D.C. If this is accurate, then the front office was willing to part with a starting albeit unnamed player as well.
