Seems the media (and us fans to a degree) get pretty caught up in the Russell Wislon story.....as well we should. However, Doug Baldwin has just been clutch money for a few years now. The guy has made some astounding grabs! I'm pretty sure he's our best receiver at present...

Didn't we pick him up as an undrafted free agent or something like that? Great find for JS and PC.

I'm just always amazed at his catches, like the one last Sunday. I still can't figure out he the heck he kept his feet inbounds. Truly amazing.

I love this guy and is definately an x factor. He plays a similair role to what Bobby Engram did a while back, reliable on 3rd down. Only difference being he's younger, more athletic and can run short, medium or deep routes.
Issue is with our protection issues we have to run more 1 or 2 TE sets which means he sees the field less.

I'm actually surprised Russell hasn't given him more chances deep yet. In the NE/SF/STL games last year I remember Doug coming up with just about all of those 50/50 balls Russell chucked up there. Would like to see him get some more chances deep.
