People were just quick to take what he tweeted the wrong way. Baldwin isn't going anywhere.

Good to see this clarified. I wouldn't have believed it anyway unless it was officially announced. Baldwin is way too valuable to us to just cut him even before we cut the camp fodder. Just didn't make any sense.

No way in hell he's released now. Especially with Harvin out for most or all of 2013.

Baldwin is our #1 slot WR going into this year.

I dont think doug will get released even with kearse and williams doing well, harvin is still hurt and sidney rice is still questionable for the start of the season and who knows how he will be when he comes back.

my question is whats going on with chris harper? Im very dissapointed that he didnt get much playing time this preseason when we drafted him i thought he would be someone we would incorporate in our gameplan i guess he is just going to be an experiment and will probably be someone in our back pocket if we cant workout a deal with golden tate or baldwin

Harper was still a developmental player when we took him. I think we took all the postitive words about him when he was drafted and at the rookie camp for more than it was truly worth. Once OTAs began, it was a different story.

A former QB who converted to WR once he transferred to K state. The big body athleticism is there, but it's becoming obvious he's still a long term project. And we don't have the luxury of being able to have a bunch of long term projects on this 2013 roster. We play in a hell of a conf and trying to win a SB.

He may make the prac squad this year, but I think even that is going to come down to the wire.
