What ever happened in that assault case where he got mugged? I still have a hard time believing that some random thugs picked a D1 running back as their "Huckleberry".

It's been the same story all along: Some football players likely beat his assaulters up, and as revenge they picked a drunk football player at random.

I seriously don't know how anyone can hate Montee. He's respectful and well-spoken, his touchdown "dance" was to walk over and hand the refs the ball, his parents moved to Madison to support him, and he was voted team captain.

LPs incident was blown out of proportion because he was the leading Heisman candidate at the time, but he definitely was a douche. Had some anger management problems without any doubt, but he didn't beat Kate McKewen anything close to what the public was led to believe.

LPs biggest issues were with the football team. He was feared by his fellow teammates. Really didn't have any friends and was pretty much a psychotic loner that even TO knew was a ticking time bomb. The guy needed football, and without it he was going to end up in prison sooner or later. Thankfully he didn't kill anybody.

LP had a rough childhood. He really needed constant attention as he was really messed up in the head and socially inept. I actually feel bad for the guy. TO really tried to help him, but some people are just not fixable.
