Donte Hitme still needs to buy those three jerseys before he can change his name. I agree with the fact I've never hear him called 'Hitner' before now.

First of all, he's breaking the cardinal rule of nicknames: YOU NEVER GIVE YOURSELF A NICKNAME!

Second of all, isn't it a little late in his career for a nickname like this? His play peaked a couple of years ago, and then he began his steady decline.

It's something friends and fans have been calling him for a while. Not trying to defend it because almost every nickname is stupid these days. I'm just making it clear that if he's telling the truth, he didn't name himself.

Anyone notice he introduced himself as Donte Hitner at the start of the game when our dee was being introduced, my son almost died laughing? hillarious - i guess if it motivates him to get fired up then more power to him. He has been playing well lately though and i think he realized he doesn't have to worry about Reid anymore......
