i haven't seen anything reported. i'd guess Akron gets a little money. probably if nothing else, to offset their travel expenses. Not sure if we might have to buy out their contract if they can say they were willing to reschedule the game and NU didn't.

Big Ten added a caveat that if you only have 4 conference home games you could play an FCS. we fall into that group this year with only Purdue, Minn, Mich St, and Ill.

Big Ten teams are allowed to schedule FCS opponents again. Should they?
