Well i guess it depends on how he legitamtely sees the future looking. If he sees nothing from the group he might have no problem. I know NUs defense is young, but they arent that great, Ohio ST defense is young and they are really good.

Pelini's reactions on the sideline and with the media the past few years are less than desirable..

really? not a good resume? sorry but i recall Nebraska being shit for the years under Callahan. He turned the entire program around to at least be respectable. This is his first year where it appears they arent very good and they might be struggling, but i dont think you realize just how big that win was against Ohio state, because although nebraska might not be that good that is a huge win for Pelinis resume and the overall record nebraska will most likely produce this season. They wont win anything big of importance this year, but a win over tOSU like that gives Nebraska a realistic opportunity to win 10 games again this year and that is a nice thing to have on your resume with such a young inexperienced team. Seriously looking at Nebraskas schedule the only other tough games i see is MSU and possibly Michigan even though Mich is horrible and has yet to play anyone, i just hink Robinson tears up that defense.

i follow nebraska football and almost dislike nebraska as much as i love the Ducks. This being because a childhood friend of mine is a huge husker fan and we constantly debated every football season our hatred for each others teams. 2001 was my worst year of my life and ill never forget that. 2010 was his worst year of his life. But since he enrolled in the military and has been deployed I've decided to take a look at his team and keep him updated on things going on with his huskers.

although ive hated his team growing up i will give the man respect for serving and since ive hated nebraska so much you tend to follow a team you really dislike. He probably knows just as much about Oregon as a Duck fan would just because he'd almost like to see a Duck loss as much as a Husker win.

what did I do? Ive done nothing but state the obvious. You cant get upset with me for stating what I saw last night for most of that game. That was embarrassing and I hope Nebraska fans agreed with me on that. This might be a little out there as I dont really know whats going on over there in Lincoln, but it just doesnt seem like Pelini is pleased with the fans and it seems like people are snapping at each ohter (media, Husker staff)

Media is 10 times more intense in Lincoln than most programs including Oregon. It's a lot to deal with. Osborne early in his career had it worse than pelini even without social networking. People were calling for his head season after season.

It comes with the territory of the Nebraska job. Bo doesn't handle it very well. Shoot Billy C handled it a whole lot better.

I think more than anything he's just trying to use the media to motivate his players. Either way, both sides are making each others jobs difficult.

Please someone find where I am outta line here? just because I said Pelini might be asked by Ohio State to be HC? Infact, looking at my posts on this thread ive actually given more compliments to Pelini then some of the Husker fans on this thread. I say the guy has a good enough resume to be looked at by Ohio State.
