I dont care if the 4rth string TE scores a TD to win tonight. It would just be nice to beat the Ravens

Only 10 to 12 snaps for Romo tonight? I'm not sure of what to make of that.

Brees hasnt played yet. Yep usually game 2 - Romo plays maybe a quarter. Their emphasis has been on running the ball. Im anxious to see how many passes Romo throws in those 12 plays. I kind of want him to get hit a little if you know what I mean.

pretty standard...no? :noidea:

I always thought maybe one series in game 1, 2 series in game 2, half in game three and sit game four

That's been about the norm for quite some time, so I'm a little unsure why it was at all surprising to anyone.

No snaps would have been the concern. Just him taking the field was a good sign. I'm happy he played well, but I'm not worried about Romo's talent, so him playing in the game was good for me even if he went 0-5.

Seemed to move around the pocket really well and was accurate on all his passes. Good start. Not sure what happened on that fumble. The replay they showed last night was hard to tell what the problem was.

I would just like to beat the Ravens in ping pong or something. As far as how much Romo played, thats his norm for the second game. A little surprised at what he said after he played in regards to being hurt. He made it sound like if your hurt , you are hurt and cant play. Im sure this will scrutinized by some on this board. I just thought it was odd. We have seen him play hurt before.

I was getting the feeling that Romo's recovery was much slower that anticipated ...but I'm good now.

After watching Romo move around, I'm not worried about him on the field. The problem for Romo is that he is going to go into every game knowing that 30 may not be enough

I heard he got hit by SUggs by I didn't see it. It supposedly knocked him down. I don't want to see him get hit like WEeden got., but that's when I will know he is really back to 100 percent.

Weeden got pounded and some hits looked very close to the head, in the chin area. No flags of course. Heard he has some wrist injury.

Well, until he gets hit and gets back up we won't know for sure that he is OK. So it's kind of a catch 22. You certainly don't want him to take any bad hits, but at the same time you know he is going to.

He just holds onto the ball so long it seems. I know he is going through his prgressions. On the td pass I thought he was gonna get blasted

I was ok with Romo's time in there, all of the starters really. They were eased into game action. I'd expect next game they will play the entire first half. As we have seen, our backups have been getting more time in season to play due to injuries, so experience now might help later.

As for the loss to the Ravens, from what I could tell they had their starters in on both sides all first half. As soon as their backups came in, our backups started to take it to them. So the only thing I really learned from this game are:

1) Dez is a beast
2) Romo is progressing
3) the running game looks like a beast
4) someone has to create pressure in on the QB
5) our backups aren't as good as the Ratbirds starters

yeah there were a couple of drop backs that I thought he was gonna get lit up. but it was reassuring to see that the back injury didn't turn him into a happy footed scaredycat. He was able to keep his eyes downfield rather than take one look and then focus on who was around him. A lesser QB would have gone into checkdown mode.

He's always taken too long to release the ball. A lot of people always say how he helps the OL to look better by being elusive, but I've always come back with the fact that IMO he has actually made them look worse than they are by holding the ball too long. They've talked the last couple of years about trying to get him to release the ball quicker, but it just doesn't seem to be in his DNA.

On the pass to Hanna where he held it forever and eventually threw it and Hanna dropped it, I did find out that there was blanket coverage on all our Wrs downfield. I figured somebody broke free and he didn't throw it
