ok is this what each hit was or what each hit would be in fenway? ESPN took their homerun tracker away so dont know where this info is from
If he stays healthy he should do fine
Dont forget he plays alot in ny/tor/bal also
hell he may hit 50:suds:

They showed the balls at other parks and where they would've been at Fenway. I think....

That's why you see doubles and outs that are way beyond the fence at fenway.

I could see that accounting as doubles but not outs especially for the Right-Center out.
its what they were at the park they were hit in So all those to the left no telling what they are in fenway due to the fence:suds:

With the hight of the monster I'd have to think they'd be hits off of it.
If it shows the ball beyond it shouldn't it imply it would have to of hit the wall before being fielded?

Regardless, I think he'll have success with the Wall and pesky's pole, since he hits to all fields.

Alex Cora on the continuing wait for J.D. Martinez: "I'm not concerned." Said his focus is solely on the players who are in camp.

3 opt outs in a 5 year deal?

J.D. Martinez's agent, Scott Boras, told reporters Monday that his client's five-year contract with the Red Sox includes three opt-outs.

Yes, three of them. It appears to be a compromise, possibly related to the team's concern about his foot injury from last year. Martinez now has the ability to opt out after the second, third, and fourth seasons of the deal while Evan Drellich of NBC Sports Boston notes that the team gets injury protection in the fourth and fifth years of the deal. The Red Sox would receive salary relief if Martinez misses 60 days in one season or 120 days cumulative due to a ligament injury to the specific joint in his foot:suds:

i can live with that. There's a non-zero chance he opts out after 2 years anyway.

More like the Red Sox aren't sure about him... They worked it into the contract from everything I've heard
