I think Canada will have a better chance this December. There's no guarantee that any of the top picks next month are going to be in the NHL next year. If Canada had Hall, Seguin & Skinner it wouldn't have been close. Heck that would have been their first line.

with Russia, you never know if politics will take precedence over icing the best team... which is why I was you never know. are they pissed he went to Sarnia?
but he was on their U-18 team, so probably.

can't think of anyone else 2012 eligible that is making waves like him.
