It's a win for both teams imo. We get rid of the salary and the mess Chip created in Maxwell. I kind of wish we held onto Kiko, but that may have been the dealbreaker to make this trade work. Kiko when healthy, is a stud. He has injury issues, which by the way, this deal is not official until they pass physicals. Kiko is a concern.I heard for a 4+5 not brutal if they both rebound this year. Alonso is cheap and Maxwell is at least a vet who plays well in zone.
Yes that's what I heard too which is fair. I think it helps both teams as the Fins have too many holes to fill in the draft and FA. There's some risk but you can't win if you don't try! Good luck Mall!Apparently the trade also involves us trading the 13th pick and our 4th rounder to move up to 8 spot? I'm not sure if this is true? I saw a tweet somewhere?
You just never know Hammer but at least it's positive and not a PED suspension or something...haha! It wouldn't shock me if both players rebound this year...
