1. If Sturgis hits a 32 yard field goal, all of the discussion on the board this morning may be positive. Again, the Parkey thing and the failure to acknowledge his injury in the preseason cost the team another game.

2. While there is alot to like about a healthy Bradford, I also thought he was putting himself in harms way in this game. Hold the ball too long and bad things happen.

3. The Sanchez INT was a Miles Austin INT. Looked like a great throw to me and a real poor job by a receiver.

4. WTF is wrong with Kelce? Sooner or later, you gotta stop making excuses for a guy and just think maybe he is overrated.

5. Never thought I would say this, but I am a bit of a Sanchez fan. He sells the read option run and gets this team to the line of scrimmage and on to the next play faster than Bradford. Assuming he starts next week, I expect the issues with footwork and Murray and hitting receivers in the back will go away. If Sanchez gets a couple of starts in a row here, he can relegate Bradford to the bench and effectively end his Eagles career. Sanchez may not have the same arm, but I am equally sold on Sanchez's ability to be this team's long term QB.

6. While a disappointing loss, at the end of the day, standings wise, nothing changed. They are still a half game back of the Giants and still control their own destiny. The only substantive change is that the Redskins are now in the mix.
We don't know if Sturgis making that kick in the 2nd Quarter would win us the game. There was a lot of game left to be played at that point.

And even if we had won...i would have said "yeah we won, but we played like crap". I would not be happy. A team with a winning record that plays poorly means nothing to me.

Sanchez didn't need to throw that ball there on the INT. As with your irrational love of Tebow your misjudgement of QB shines through with Sanchez. Sure the O looks a little better with Sanchez than Bradford and a Ford escort is faster than a Model T. I don't want either one.

I think it's funny you rip Kelce after ripping Mathis who might be the reason Kelce was as good as he was. Next off season we're gonna hear how Kelce "didn't want to be here" and "wasnt a team player"...i'm sure you'll be leading the charge.

In any event, i told you so about these offseason personnel moves you poo-poohed. Pretty much all my predictions were accurate.

Jordan Matthews looking like Reggie Brown with heart. Keep waiting for him to make the leap and he doesn't. Granted, it's early, so I hope to God i'm wrong about that.

Just about every team in the NFL can point to a few plays during the season that if successful would have changed their W-L record.

Doubt any GM's in the league could be sold Sanchez is a long term solution at QB.

Eagles were 9-3 after 12 games last year, the future looked bright, they didn't make the playoffs. They're 4-5 this year and competing with the lowly Redskins to get in the playoffs.

You don't see a problem here? Do you like the direction of the team?

I don't see why anyone would declare Agholor a keeper yet. He's done nothing so far. Too early to label him a bust, but too early to call him a keeper also.

He is a keeper for at least 2 more years. After that, if he hasn't developed into a good or better receiver, then he can go, but I will give him 2 healthy seasons.

3 of my six points were fairly critical. The last was simply pointing out that there is alot of football left to play and the Eagles are still well situated to make the playoffs. A Giant comeback is possible where you squeak into the playoffs and then go all the way.

I like what they did with the defense this offseason and clearly the jury is out on the offensive changes. You see glimpses at times, but way too inconsistent.

An example of the confusion in the iggles chain of command.

Johnson On Pregame Confusion: 'It Was Kind Of Messed Up' - Birds 24/7

"I think he tried to go and I think he was going to go but I don't think Chip allowed him to go is what it was," said Johnson. "When I got there I thought he was warming up so I was expecting to go right. In the locker room, I was kind of, 'What the f--- am I playing?' and ended up knowing I was going left. It was kind of messed up."

That'll help you prepare for the game properly won't it. :rolleyes2:
