Omar Bolden fears he tore his ACL... (or at least something) It was a non contact knee injury and the doctors claimed the knee was very loose.

What a difference he has made on special teams.

KR and PR is a much different aspect with him in there. I never would have expected watching him as a DB in college that he would be a legit NFL return man.

Kayvon Webster has really stepped it up on special teams all year.

Especially important now with Bruton and Bolden out.

Best guess is 1 of two things.

1. Place Bolden on IR... Bring Ryan Murphy off the PS but he will be inactive with Shilo Keo active.

2. Placed Bonden on IR and bring back Prater who will then be inactive with Shilo Keo active.

Keo was inactive for the first time this week since we signed him which was a good thing because Bolden was finally healthy, but looks like Keo will be back on the field. Which he hasn't played all that bad. Just don't want him in man to man coverage.

Place Bolden on IR and being in a S off of the Pats PS and make him active.

Good news/Bad news on Bolden.

Torn PCL out for season. No surgery.

He is an UFA at end of season. Wants to re-sign. I am sorta expecting maybe a 2 year type of deal like Bruton re-signed for his first year of FA with us.

Omar also told me in our convo that he hopes he will be brought back next year with a new deal (I think most Bronco Free agents are going to want to return at this time)... I also read somewhere where Malik Jackson said contract talks were going well with him. Haven't heard anything from Marshall on a new deal, not a big fan of discussing that aspect of things with players. I know Marshall really really really wants to stay a Bronco though.

Glad to hear he doesn't need surgery. Stinks to lose the one guy that I would say can turn field position on special teams.

Also love hearing that things are advancing with Malik. This whole we can't keep everybody thing while true we won't keep every single player I don't think we will lose as many pieces as some would suggest. I mean look at how Elway has done with the Cap. This season alone we have Manning, Ware, Clady, Harris, D. Thomas, Talib, and Ward all signed to big contracts yet we still had plenty of cap space. Knowing that some of those big contracts will be off the books Elway will have plenty of cap room to manipulate the numbers however he sees fit. To me the bigger issue for the Broncos is never do we have the cap space it is more do we have the cash on hand to sign the contracts we want.

Chris Harris is a big blow but Boldin has the potential to take it to the house. Oh well injuries happen.
