I don't like how confident everyone is in Oklahoma. Makes me nervous.

Nothing wrong with confidence.

Nothing is guaranteed.

We finally get to play a real team.

Can't wait.

Don't be nervous. We got a good team this year and they are ready to fire on all cylinders.

Stacking the box because you know the team that has a 24-6 lead and will be trying to run the clock out isn't really much of an adjustment.

But we did mostly run the entire game. McElroy had 11 pass attempts, 5 of them in the 4th quarter.

I would also like to point out we also committed 5 turnovers in that game, so like you Bammers claim, it wasn't a beat down b/c we committed 5 turnovers.

If the Sooners are up 50-0 at the half does he leave the starters in or pull them? I'm not trolling or being a homer, it's a legit question because of all the stuff between him and Saban/SEC.

Personally I think if a scenario like that happens he will run the score up to prove a point.

I don't think it's just Stoops vs. Saban. It's also how the new playoffs are set up. Wining by large scores is going to benefit those in the running for one of those playoff positions.

Tennessee is the only common opponent both OU & Bama face so if given the chance I'd expect the foot squarely on the gas pedal for 4 qtrs. I just want a W no matter what the score is.

I believe Stoops will do everything possible to blow out UT - if it's 50 - 0 in the 4th Q, I would expect him to continue to be aggressive even with back-ups in the game.

I don't believe his focus to dominate Tenn will have as much to do with the "SEC" as much as it be him building the resume of his team this year to ensure a playoff spot. Just my opinion.

OU - 42
Tenn - 14

He will treat this game like every other game this year.

If we're up by 4+ scores late in the 3rd you will see youngsters again on defense...if it's more than that early in the 4th you'll see offensive depth.

The only reason Trevor Knight played the full game against La. Tech was because the backup was injured.

I don't see Bob risking injury to starters late, in an "out of hand" game.
