Dodgers Acquire Chris Taylor From Mariners For Zach Lee
It's a swap of surplus players, and I like it. The Dodgers need infield depth (you really want Charlie Culberson being the man if Seager or Turner get hurt?) and they only have a bajillion back-of-the-rotation quality starters in the system.
Taylor hasn't hit much in limited time up in the bigs, but he has been tearing it up in the minors so it's not out of the question that he could pay off in a big way. Young guy, still has 2 option years left. If nothing else he's an instant candidate to answer the question of "who plays 2B next season?" should Utley retire and Kendrick be needed to continue in a super-utility role.
