Hey I did hear something pretty interesting from Kruk today. They were talking about the lead off spot and Krukow suggested the Giants try Crawford there. He can hit leftys and he has gained a ton of confidence.

Why not? We cannot keep throwing Blanco with his .091 average leading off the first inning out there game after game. (And his two pitch approach)

Giants are playing .756 ball when scoring first. We cannot just flush our leadoff slot in the first inning. It is crucial we get something going early in the game.

I heard him say that. Not a bad idea. Having Craw hit 1 allows us to keep Pences power deeper in the lineup (albeit only one spot deeper).

It made sense to me.
