Do We Make Changes During Our Bye

Should we make any changes during our bye? And if so what changes should we make? I know some of you have been calling for Haslett to be fired, so do we pull the plug or leave it as it is?

Haslett is not getting fired. I would get Helu, Hankerson and Robinson more involved with the offense. We are right back in it if we beat Dallas.

If they were going to can Haslett, it would have happened right after the game so a new DC would have a full 2 weeks to prepare. Unfortunately, he is with us for the long haul.

Yep - given what happened during the Raiders game there is no way any coaching changes are made right now. The bye is coming at a good time. Time to let everyone heal a bit. I would also hope that they spend a bit more time working with RG3 on execution & mental type issues such as knowing when to throw the ball away & sliding. They also need to work with others (e.g. O-line) to cut down on penalties & mental mistakes.

Might also be a great time to find a punt returner who can actually gain more than 1-2 yards.

whoa.....I don' know about that. Even with a back to normal RG3, we still have a sieve for a defense. Don't let the Oakland game deceive you, they suck.

Yep - plus they will have to contend with a Giants team that apparently is going to win their next 12 games - at least according to their resident loudmouth.

I would Say insert Jenkins back into the Starting Lineup....He does seem to do a good job at tieing up blockers.....which may allow the LB's a cleaner area to work....(if they can just tackle) London has missed alot of tackles and really it was starting to rear its ugly head with him last year as the season wore on...

A Punt Returner would be AWESOME....Maybe that is why they brought in Jarred Green???? Maybe he can have the return Mojo his dad had.....Darryl didnt do it much, but when he did...you knew it was a big game...and the odds were good he would make something happen!!!

I'd like to see them come out in week 6 and run a blazing fast no huddle offense ... but year two might be too soon for Griffin to fully run the offense that way.

The only problem with adding Green is that would mean someone would have to be removed to make room on the active roster ... I just dont see who we can afford to cut to make room for a specialty player like a kick returner.

If only we could find a kicker who could both kick & punt. Such a waste of roster spot, IMO, having two kickers.

How about replacing the current returner! I have no idea if Green is the solution but honestly what has the current returner (Thompson) done that would make anyone regret getting rid of the guy?

The healthier Griffin becomes, the more expendable Grossmans roster spot becomes also.

I think its premature to dump Thompson. Must keep alot of debth a RB, just incase. But agree both he & Niles Paul are next up on the chopping block if & when someone is eligible to return from the PUP list.
