If we can get him on the cheap, sure. Would give us depth if he is healthy. But I think he will be wanting a bit more than a low ball contract. and likely wants to go where he will start, and that aint going to happen in DC.

Rather sit back and see what merlin brings to the table and if carriker gets healthy. At most we are looking for depth right now, not a starting DE.

Even if they redo Rak's deal it still leaves them with an uncomfortable cushion. That cushion needs to be there for any kind of in season injuries that might hit.

Plus, any cap they don't spend goes into next year's cap.
