Do We Go After Wallace and Mendenhall in the Offseason?

Wallace's demands have dropped substantially......Mendenall would be good in a 1-2 punch with BGE for a year....He would play hard to get back at Pitt...

Wallace on the outside with Green with Sanu in the slot would be DEADLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alternate Marvin Jones in with Wallace and use Hawkins to give Sanu a breather and gadget plays.... I know it wont happen but man that would be interesting.....

You can't pay 2 receivers as much money as Wallace and Green eventually would command.

I actually like Sanu, Jones and Hawkins so I wouldn't advocate dropping a ton of dough on Wallace. I always think paying a vet RB big money is a bad idea.

I think the priority needs to be resigning A.Smith. They also could begin working on an extension for Atkins. Safety is always a need as is LB. If there is a good vet out there I think that's the direction they should go in FA. But we all know that the Bengals take more of a 'pick the bones' approach to FA.

I think with a healthy Sanu....

Green, Sanu, Hawkins, Jones is a pretty dang good WR core considering that Gresham and Charles are also part of that passing attack.

I am very happy with the way our receiving core came together this year finally. Lots of hope for next year.

Mike Brown is already ging to have a small heart attack just resigning his players and upping extensions to get into the 99% cap spending bracket.

Andre Smith, Dunlap, Atkins, Howard, Burfict, Adam Jones, Hawkins, Gresham probably. Then in two years you are looking at monster pay days for Green and probably in the $50-$60 million dollar range for Dalton for 6 to 7 years.

I just do not see us spending hardly any money in FA except on fillers to replace other fillers who left via FA. Resupply with draft choices.

I think they won't go after a big named WR, they will look to fill other holes in the roster with mid tier guys.
