No, it can count if it comes off the skate, as long as it's not due to a "kicking motion". Which is why that was always going to be a good goal, Malone was just stopping, no kicking motion.

And you can complain about the refs all you want, Cricket. We all do at some point or another. My point last night was that it doesn't usually happen when you're dominating a series, because it is all but impossible to do so if there is a bias. But what REALLY got my goat was the fact that the Caps lost again, and you were the first person around I could take a shot at.

Indeed it is. I think the fact Roloson was outside the crease a little at the top might have been a factor.

Yes they would, and they'll never do it. I don't think any of the major sports leagues do. It would certainly clear up a lot of the vaguery of some of the calls.

No worries. I got your point. I'm not trying to take anything away from your team (accept this game) but a large number of the calls have been in the Caps favor. And I personally think in a quite a few cases they were kind of soft calls. And it's just....frustrating. Even more so when there's not a lot you can do about it. It just sucks because it means the Bolts have to work harder (not there is anything wrong with that) and get beat on without any real way to come back. Aside from the fact they won.

I realize nothing is "fair" but it doesn't mean I have to like it. And as you saw I'm clearly very vocal when something really pisses me off.
