Just found out Crabby is only out 6 months, so it makes the point moot.

Crabby's 5-or-so million won't count against the cap this season because he'll be on IR. Now the Niners have some cap room to get some crazy good depth on the DL. The D has to be a sure thing like it was in 2011 now that the WR situation is, once again, a huge question mark.

agree with the part on D only, we need it to be solid again ala 2011. but we all wanted this regardless of Crab's injury. it'll start up front where we already signed Dorsey.
