Too be fair, it’s not like 710 can afford to piss of the Mariners but also we shouldn’t expect hard questions cause Jim Moore got fired for essentially half ass joking with Jerry about how his infield was playing like little leaguers.

Their job isn't to put the screws to anyone - their job is to be entertaining and get guests that'll be entertaining to their audience. Putting the screws to their guests may entertain a small portion of the audience - until next week when the guests stop coming on the show and all they can do is talk about the guest instead of talking to the guest.

which is why i've never listened to them and never will. neither of them is an entertainer, sorry. and it's not "entertaining" to hear a moron like dipoto regurgitate problems and basically just say "they need to play better'". that' self-evident and while it's fine that 710 gives him a platform to just get up and say one stupid thing after another, any and all criticism is merited.

the last thing i want to hear is guests who just get their asses kissed, even if it's a team that is doing great.

i ate it up back when i commuted though, lol. they know their audience.
