I don't think I've ever seen a player get three penalties for running the goalie in the same game. And if there's a goalie you need to walk on eggshells around, it's DiPietro.

First one, it happens sometimes. You try to get position, bump the goalie, he flops, you get a penalty. Right call, but I wasn't pissed at Cooke yet.

Second time, I'm thinking, Cooke, did you really think you were going to get away with that? Started to get pissed off.

But the third one, another obvious call, and right after he came out of the box, was too much. Three totally unnecessary penalties in one game.

I think if if I was told that I could play one season in the NHL, that's it, end of story, I would spend my time running guys like Cooke, Avery, Burrish, Ott, Ribiero... (damn, I better hope I'm in the Pacific).
