Was that a play that was reviewable, and was there ever any punishment considered? Does the Big 12 condone such action?

Here’s Beebe’s response:

“Well, first of all, I think if you look at it carefully, it wouldn’t be what you characterized,” he said.

How would Beebe characterize that play, then?

“Well, if you think it was that (jabbing at testicles), we’ll just have to disagree. I don’t think it was in that manner. And didn’t the Nebraska player say he was just trying to get to the ball?”



Ok then Beebe, using your logic you fucking smartass, when a player (like Ben Cotton) says something at a press conference then I guess we'll just use that as hard evidence. And since the A&M player apologized for grabbing Ben Cotton's balls, and Sherman said "that's not what we're about here at A&M, and I told my player that"...........then I guess we have enough evidence that he grabbed his fucking balls don't we?

Amazing how Ben Cotton can jokingly say "I guess he was just trying to get to the ball" with a smile on his face and THIS is what Beebe uses as evidence that the A&M player wasn't grabbing his balls.

Yet at the same fucking time the A&M player is apologizing for grabbing his balls. Yea.....ok

Great article from a neutral 3rd party.

That being said; Beebe will run things his way, which is he will side with whatever team is playing Nebraska. As fans; there is nothing we can do.

25 years from now; after Nebraska has dominated the Big 10; Tom and Harvey have passed on; and Bo is contemplating retiring from the Nebraska as head coach (AD Trev Alberts will talk him into staying for another 5); a book will be written by Greg Burks. It will document all of his exploits as an official in college football and he will tell us exactly what happened between Beebe, the Big 12 league, and Nebraska. His last page will be a long apology to Nebraska fans.

An 80+ year old Beebe the next day will start a smear campaign stating the Burks has lost his mind, was never credible, and will still deny any conspiracy. He will write his own book; which will fail as quickly as his Texas conference did.

I looked at the Big XII rules and there was nothing in there governing the presentation of trophies..

Ie..Not mandatory or even mentioned that a representative should/would be sent..
