Obviously they know the season is lost, so I'm guessing they are just riding it out without rushing any decisions. Had they not brought TLR in, Towers probably would have packed his bags before Byrnes did. With Tony behind the scenes and assuming he is calling the shots, they're gonna ride this out as long as they can.
