Knew it was something. I guess it could have been worse.

Curse of Jerry. Did you see how Dez got hurt? Complete freak play. A play you rarely see happen on a weekly basis. Curse of Jerry.

Freak plays a lot of times mean ACLs. It is sounding like 1-3 weeks

I did see it. I agree it is not routine play. I thought he was done for the year after watching his leg bend

I hope the team decides to sit Bryant for the next few weeks. Make sure the guy is healthy, period. This "he's day to day" and "not ruled out for Sunday" nonsense the team is talking is ridiculous - I hope it's just gamesmanship. Seems as though the Cowboys front office didn't learn the lesson last year about rushing injured players back too soon.

I think he obviously didn't want the MRI because he knew it wasn't gonna be the result he wanted. He and Romo may need a shrink.

This guy was a headcase but I thought he was getting his act together. I am not going to cast big aspersions on him here yet until I get more info but I do side with team on this :
Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant has been fined by the team for missing an MRI and team meetings on Tuesday, theDallas Morning News reported.

But it could be the case as it was explained:
The report said Bryant showed up at the team’s facility Tuesday too late for an MRI to be performed.

If I got paid millions to do a job that relied on my bones and one wasn't right I would contact the guy who signs the checks and let him know I was running late for the test. Dez, your late excuse don't fly. Sad as I finally got behind you 100%.

Dez Bryant - WR - Cowboys
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says it is a "long-shot" Dez Bryant (knee) plays this week.

Rapoport reports the Cowboys hope Bryant can play this week, but they are "aware" he could be looking at a "three-week injury." It would be surprising at this point if Bryant suited up against the 49ers, and he is questionable at best for Week 5 against the Bengals. Cole Beasley should see a ton of targets with Bryant sidelined, and Brice Butler is an interesting sleeper as well.

Dez is passionate. He gets hurt a lot though. Our 3 best players arguably of course, have all become injury risks

Agree and Romo too:yes:

:kidding: But I do think you can add Scandrick to your list too...heck, excluding the OL and Witten most of our good players seem to have multiple injury concerns over the past few years. Maybe we are also this year finding out that injuries have held back Mo and McClain from being two of our better players also...

I agree. It was wrong what he did, but as a competetor and trying to stay healthy this year, I can understand. Hold him out for 1-3 weeks.
