So Dez is a bit retarded? Anyone who would argue that we should have drafted Gresham instead of him, is on crack.

It's honestly a debatable issue.... Obviously not about talent. Dez is clearly the superior player. He was as a draft prospect and he is as an NFL player. But drafting Dez came with a TON of potential issues. And they were the same types of issues that had not worked out for the Bengals in the past. They were the same issues that made many teams pass on Dez. And they were compounded by the fact that we were coming off a season where we watched a great talent at the position (Henry) die in an unfortunate accident -- Which happened to be the end of a long line of issues.

So, no, I don't think not drafting Dez was stupid. Though it would be nice if Gresham was even an average tight end.
