He seems like a peach.

The outrage when we skipped him was hilarious.

It's good to see the knucklehead quotient on the Bengals declining as it rises around the league.....hit his mom? damn.......

If still rather have him and gronk or Hernandez over Gresham and Shipley.

It's pretty easy to say we missed on Gronk now, but before that draft he was always pounded about 'durability' concerns. Everyone went crazy when we picked Gresham because he had ONE knee injury -- It would have been funny to see the reaction to drafting a guy that had missed half of college due to injury. I'd also argue that Gronk is quite a character and it's definitely not a sure thing that he would have the same level of production and influence on our team.

All that said, I think our fans tend to overrate Grehsam and Shipley. Gresham still gets a pass from me because he's had some big catches and definitely flashes some major potential -- I just don't think we've been much different with him in or out of the lineup. It would be nice if he became more of a threat to change the game. People assume Jordan Shipley is going to be just like Wes Welker simply because he is short and white.

I want to see Shipley play a whole year in the wco before making a decision on him. Gresham has definitely shown potential, but in comparison to Gronk and Hernandez it's really unfair because of the Brady factor......

Gronk had a major back injury coming out of college. That was the reason that he was even available in the 2nd round. If you remember the Pats wanted Gresham. In fact once we picked him they traded out of their spot (right behind us) if memory serves me correctly. Overall, Gresham, Dunlap and Shipley aint too shabby as a 1, 2 and 3. I'd say they got very good production out of those rounds and Gresham and Dunlap havent even scratched the surface of what they're capable of. Solid A first three rounds.

Spot on.

When the ball has been thrown Gresham's way, he's made plays. It seems he just hasn't had a large pass catching role to this point, more due to scheme than player. We all know the story last year. During Brat's reign here, we'd never had even a decent pass catching TE, so those plays simply didn't exist in the playbook.

I wouldn't want Bryant within 100 yards of the Bengals locker room. Gronk isn't catching 17 TD passes here and Bryant is a massive liability. I'll take Gresham and Jordan Shipley's corpse over Bryant.

It's nice to have you back Kramer -- Your negative outlook is making it start to feel like football season.

It's a tough schedule...but I think the talent they've assembled is legit. I think the team will be better than last year but that they'll go 8-8. It will all come down to how much (if any) Dalton progresses. I think with the talent that they have they could make some real noise in 2014.

we don't need a long term thread about dez bryant. I think this started because he hit his mom.

So Dez is a bit retarded? Anyone who would argue that we should have drafted Gresham instead of him, is on crack.
