Dez bryant- Ray Rice-Like video reportedly being released.

if it was a big deal it would have been released already. we all know how quick the media is to shove anything out in the public.

Maybe maybe not. The ray rice video took a while to actually surface. Regardless of import, this kind of thing isn't going to help Dez's contract negotiations.

Not going to speculate about the video that has yet to be released, but I will say this is the worst possible timing for Dez. He and his agent have been trying hard to land a long-term contract with Dallas and avoid the franchise tag. This isn't going to help his cause any.

Which is why I think the people selling the tape chose now. They hoped that Dez would buy it with some of his soon to be millions.

I'm the biggest Dez fan there is if he did this he's a Moron and I can't blame the Cowboys if the choose to not resign him. Yeah, Wal Mart parking lot, right? WTF? Sounds like a blackmail thing to me, otherwise the tape would have been released long ago. Having this come out when Bryant is a FA and could sign a $100 million deal screams of someone trying to leverage the tape against him

Releasing the tape at the same time as Ray Rice wouldn't benefit the media much so why not hold onto it until things calm down about DV. Then, start over again with a Dez video so the media can blow it out of proportion too.

I don't know, I still don't really buy it. There are virtually no details about this supposed video other than that it supposedly happened at a Wal Mart. The Sports Media as a collective whole are some of the most careless and irresponsible journalists out there and typically can't wait to run off at the mouth with shit, I find it real hard to believe that if this video actually existed and was so terrible that we would just be finding out about it now. There are virtually no details given on the incident, usually reporters of mainstream sports media and the twitter variety can't wait to start throwing out baseless accusations and false information. Why should we expect the media to all of a sudden exercise a little discretion? Especially with one of the media's favorite whipping boys...

It seems to me like they don't have much to report because this is B.S.. People would have talked already, if it happened at a Wal-Mart and someone video recorded the incident, then other people saw the incident and they would have talked too. I find it very hard to believe we would have just been hearing about this the week of a major contract deadline, if it was legit and "5X Ray Rice". It's all too convenient, and given the tone of contract negotiations over the past year, very fishy. It didn't take long for the Ray Rice stuff to come out, and the details came out long before the video. We don't have one scrap of information about the Dez Bryant incident, and it's supposedly been over 6 months ago this happened.

It makes me think back to the NBA free agency of 2010 and all the rumors swirling about Lebron James and his eventual landing spot. If anyone recalls, there were rampant rumors peddled by everyone in the sports industry about a man named "World Wide Wes". NBA players were talking about him, former player tv analysts, sports columnists. It seemed everyone in the business was in on the joke as they played this man up as a real behind the scenes power broker, who had a say in where the big free agents of that year were going to end up. It was all a complete farce. Maybe this Dez Bryant issue is not in the same vane, but it wouldn't be the first time I have seen media intentionally misdirect their audience.

The only thing that concerns me is IF there is legs to the number of times the police have been called to his house over the last 2/3 years. That would be the Dez I knew coming outa OK State and a very large reason why I tag the guy this year and perhaps the next. I'm sure not giving him top 2 in the league WR money over the next 4/5 years. GREAT, GREAT Talent...no question, but maturity & two cent decisions off the field most likely remain a concern within the halls at Valley Ranch.

And still the infamous tape has not been released. From WalMart it's most likely very grainy and you can't identify who is doing what to whom. And from 4 years ago too. Which makes all this nonsense a huge steaming pile of poo.

As more and more evidence comes out it looks like someone is trying to extort Dez. This happend in like 2012 and now video and audio is coming out on the Incident with his mother. They trying to railroad this dude. I'm not saying he's innocent but he hasn't and likely won't be charged in this latest incident, and the Cowboys will make a huge mistake IMO to you this for contract negotiation leverage.
