It all evens out in the long run. There probably already are other plays where teams got burned on close plays by Dez. Honestly, I'd give up the close plays like the pinky play and this one in order to not get flagged for close offensive PI plays.

The rule is subject to interpretation. There should be a 2 step rule in effect to determine if the receiver has possesion and then becomes ball carrier. Needs to be taken out of refs hands. The other call was reversed when it was obvious that the ball touched the ground
