The thing that struck me most about Adam was how unbelievably calm he is with the puck. He gets it and just skates up the ice while protecting it. He was nuts with that. He gets the pick in the middle of his own end, and just strolls out and no one can stop him. Marty was great tonight. Hard to fault him on either goal.

Also, a lot of Rookie's would have been totally destroyed by tipping the puck into your own net to let the opponent tie the game. He just kept going.

He really had no reason to be destroyed about it. A canes player had their stick right behind his so it would have been a goal regardless.

The Devils don't have normal rookies either. Larsson has been the #1 Dman from game 2 and Fayne had the 2nd highest minutes for a Dman behind Larsson.


Zubrus also remains the least appreciated player in the NHL from the media. how the hell does the league pick Henrique, Elias, and Sykora over him as the three stars?! The guy has unreal skill along the boards. He fought off two canes along the boards to get sykora a good shot. He then chased the puck and held it along the boards while getting checked by two canes for 7 seconds as the lines changed. Finally he gives it to Henrique for the game winner.

Elias and Zubrus have been the Devils best players this season. Better than Larsson, Parise, Kovalchuk, and Brodeur.

Henrique and Marty played very vell. Also thought Palmieri had a strong game.

I thought everybody played quite except Pelley I didn't even notice him at all..... Fayne looks like a monster this year it's kinda sad that every time we got stuck in our own end Sal and Atrain were on the ice... these were suppost to be out shut down pair LOL
