They could get lucky with a goalie, since they aren't typically drafted in the top-10. The last two that I can think of that were drafted at the top were Fleury and DiPietro. It's just traditionally a risky spot.

Stamkos, St. Louis, and Stamkos? Vinny is a shell of his former self. He inherited a young superstar center, a good but aging veteran winger, a guy who USED to be a great center but has been hampered by concussions, and a bunch of really bad contracts. But yeah, the fact that he's been there two whole years and has only made it to the ECF once is a joke. If you can't turn around a team in two years, what good are you?
