Stafford dove forward though so its just like any player going down, they always jump on the runner after he's been tackled. Smith on the other hand slid which means he gave himself up, they aren't even supposed to touch him after that or its for sure 15 yards.

It should have been a penalty, but Smith also dove at the last split second. Didn't give the defender much time to react.
