This is getting crazy......I'm trying to watch both the NFL draft and this Game...14 Ks through 7........Sanchez is on fire

17Ks through 8 and JL pulls him short of a complete game shut out.......That's too bad.....Had Sanchez playing in fantasy tonite, that sure would have been alot of points.....Burn in hell Jimmy........I know 121 pitches is alot, but JV has gone over 130 before......Quite frankly let this kid have his moment and start the 9th.....Pfft.

He has been worth it since he signed it......What he did tonight desreves a bonus....Not even Verlander has done it......I hope it makes JV angry.....Competition is what makes players better....Stagnant water and you have guys just collecting paychecks....

no one is worth the contract they signed. However comparing his contract to the one signed by greinke than yes he is worth it. sanchez a career ERA of 3.66 compared to greinke and his 3.75 ERA . This is the market for FA pitchers. Max probably looking at the same if not more when he becomes a FA after next season.

Freaking Leyland......Why would you only let Smyly face two batters? This guys is a bum..........Smyly hasn't thrown for a week.....He strikes out two guys and JL sits him...


Either make him the fucking closer or let him pitch JL.....If Detroit loses this game, its all on JL's head.....Smyly would have just cruised........Nice to know the best arm in the pen (drew) should only have 20 innings at the end of the year by the way JL is using him.
